  • General construction knowledge considered an asset
  • A valid class 5 driver’s license/class 3 license considered an asset
  • Experience operating skid steer considered an asset
  • Welding experience considered an asset
  • Electrical & Automation required

Shipping and Receiving

We are seeking a full time Shipping and Receiving team member. The role requires an individual who is hands on, self-motivated and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Primary Tasks and Duties:

  • Responsible for the safe flow of industrial goods in and out of our warehouse and yard, checking for accuracy, and appropriately processing orders. Supports the warehouse by stocking shelves, performing housekeeping activities within the work area, and operating a forklift in support of the movement of goods
  • Receives goods into inventory, including unpacking and verifying contents against appropriate documents
  • Prepares packages to be sent out in accordance with information on the packing slip; picks and packs goods for shipment as per customer and branch orders.
  • Ensures goods are shipped in accordance with organizational best practices and customer requirements
  • Stock shelves with received shipments, using the appropriate sorting/organization system and equipment, including forklifts
  • Ensures the warehouse is maintained in a clean and organized fashion at all times
  • Performs additional duties as assigned
  • Operates forklift and activities within the work area in a safe manner

The Candidate Requirements:

  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Positive attitude and the ability to work within a team environment
  • Proven communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

  • High School
  • Forklift Experience (Valid Forklift license/certification is an asset – training and certification will be provided)

Work Experience:

  • 1-2 years; previous experience in similar role
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Outlook

Engineering Technologist

Our team in Winnipeg MB, is looking for a full-time Engineering Technologist.

Responsibilities:

Creation of technical drawings and supporting drawing documentation used for manufacturing, fabrication, and sales and marketing purposes

·         Design and prepare drawings according to customer requirements

Participate in redesign projects to reduce material costs, improve quality, increase safety, etc. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to create documented procedures and controls

Qualifications:

·         3-5 years design/CAD/SolidWorks experience

·         Relevant post secondary education

·         Proficient with SolidWorks and creating shop drawings

·         Experience with steel fabrication design/concepts

·         Fabrication experience is a definite asset

·         Organized with a high attention to detail

·         Able to work with tight deadlines

·         A team player

·         An excellent communicator both oral and written
